Five billion people around the world lack access to safe and affordable surgical care, most of which can be resolved with access to essential surgical and anaesthesia care. With Universal Coverage of Essential Surgery (UCES), 1.5 million deaths a year could be prevented. In low to medium income countries, that amounts to 6.5% of all deaths (WHO 2014).
Our Vision
Our vision is to deliver advanced surgical devices for safer surgeries, and to enforce a patient-focused, care-focused culture in Africa and the diaspora.
Bridging the Gap
Our educational opportunities in African countries with low doctor-patient ratio will provide training for domestic medical staff to hone their skills. We will promote and coordinate continued education programs as they are essential to maintaining and promoting safe surgical care.

We aim to facilitate expert, affordable surgeries and care to patients in African countries, without compromising quality and integrity of service. Having more surgeons and medical staff, including those in the diaspora, has several advantages:
